Music, Mother's Day, Mary Poppins, and More

First, Music:
Caspar Babypants did a concert at our local library, so G. and Jill got to go together. Here they are, waiting to get into the show.

Next, Mother's Day:

Steve and Henny headed to Texas early on Mother's Day, so we celebrated the night before. I had been at an educator's class at the zoo all day, and when I got home at dinnertime, Jill had a sign made, flowers, a card, my gift (Tina Fey's book), and she had dressed herself in a beautiful outfit. What a surprise!

Then, Mary Poppins:

The Children's Museum is having Mary Poppins Tuesdays for the month of May, to celebrate the Broadway show coming to town. I seriously considered taking Jill to the show, but the price of tickets was just too high for a 2 year old. The recommended age is 6 and up. So, we settled for going to the museum and trying to win tickets by entering the chalk drawing contest. She didn't win tickets to Mary Poppins, but she did win 4 seats to Sesame Street Live this coming Wednesday, so that was pretty excellent. We spend every morning watching Sesame Street, so we are VERY excited!

Finally, More:

The day after Steve and Henny returned we had some gorgeous weather, so we headed to the zoo together.
