January 2013

So...it's been 2 and half months. We've sold our house, bought another one, moved, and now here we are, back in January. Things are amazingly good over here, just busy with life and family and family members' health worries, and Teenie Tennis classes and fun. Thanks for being patient and caring enough to bug me. I needed to do this! So, without further ado, here is January out of order, as always.

The day we sold our house...1/16/13.  Steve thought we should go to the beach to celebrate.  It. Was. Freezing.  While we were still there, we got a call saying the house we had seen and liked earlier in the day had an offer coming in that evening. So, we made an offer too, not wanting to lose it, but figuring we could back out later.  The seller chose the other (identical) offer, but when those people turned out not have money, it fell to us.  Happy buying/selling house day, though we didn't know it at the time!
