Eighteen Months!

Jill had her 18 month check up today, and weighs in at 25.5 pounds, up more than 2 pounds from her last visit. This brings her weight back up to the 75th percentile. She is 32 inches tall (61st percentile), and that big head is still big, 19.3 inches (97th percentile). Because we were there on Saturday and she got a shot, she was NOT happy about today's visit, and screamed the ENTIRE time. She actually cried harder when the doctor was in the room than when she was getting the shots. Dr. K. says she looks great, she's very verbally advanced, and he recommended that we take her to a dermatologist for her rash, which he suspects is a virus, though one he admittedly hasn't seen before. We were relieved when he preemptively ruled out food and contact allergies.

At 18 months, Bean is adorable. She's loving, curious, she repeats EVERYTHING we say, and she's begun to show us her temper in the form of tantrums, but not very often and it's reasonably easy to talk her down from them most of the time.
